Meet Dennis

Dennis Schiel has been a professional artist for over 40 years. Dennis and his wife, Tina, have lived in Hays, Kansas since 2007. Prior to that they resided in Colorado. Dennis is a realist, thriving on detail, wanting to achieve fond memories and a sense of awe for his viewers. Dennis‘s most notable painting is the ‘Kansas Historical Mural’ hanging in the Kansas State Capitol Building in Topeka. Dennis has collectors both individual and corporate throughout the United States. Notable commissions are Wayne Newton, John Elway, and Don Baylor. Dennis has created many family historical murals and is known for his numerous outdoor murals throughout the state of Kansas. Dennis loves to paint animals and scenery. A few of his favorite creations are ‘Peter, Walking On Water’ and ‘Buffalo and Trains Don’t Mix’.
 

Dennis dedicates this book to his granddaughters Hannah, Ellis, Libby, and Kinley.
